Loch Earn Sailing Club (LESC) advises that all participants at Brown Cup Event use Bottled Water.
The source of the tap water at Loch Earn Sailing Club is a private supply system with the source being Loch Earn. The loch water receives treatment through Filtration-UV-Carbon Filter. Loch Earn Sailing Club has a private water supply policy, risk assessment with annual testing carried out by Perth & Kinross Council.
Perth & Kinross Council carried out a satisfactory test of the LESC private water supply in March 2024, however the quality since this testing date is unknown. The 2025 test has not been carried yet.
LESC advises all participants to use bottled water, not drink the tap water and to boil water used for cooking. Bottled water shall be provided
