A Scottish Schools Sailing Event

Save the Date Announcement for 2026 - The Scottish Schools Brown Cup Sailing event will be a one-day race day to be held on Monday, 8th June 2026. More information will be supplied and this shall still be a "supported event for sailors".

Loch Earn Sailing Club is delighted to announce the 2026 Brown Cup Scottish Schools Sailing Event.

The exact format for 2026 is to be determined. 

The Brown Cup is a fantastic event to support Scottish sailing for those attending primary or secondary school. As well as experienced sailors who are seasoned race competitors, many of this year's entrants will likely be sailing in a regatta for the first time.

The Brown Cup will be awarded to the top School team of 3 boats. In addition, cups will be awarded for the 1st Handicap, Topper class, and Optimist classes and additional individual prizes. Schools may enter multiple teams of three for the Brown Cup.

*Entries open in April 2026.
