Loch Earn Sailing Club – Brown Cup Scottish Schools Sailing Event

All participants, coaches, instructors, officials, parents and volunteers at Loch Earn Sailing Club and the Brown Cup Scottish Schools Sailing Event are expected to treat others with respect and behave in a manner that reflects the principles of the club. The aim is for participants to enjoy sailing, develop their skills and take part in a safe and supportive environment.

Abusive language, bullying, intimidation, aggressive behaviour, or disrespect towards others or their property will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.

Participants must follow instructions from coaches and officials, respect other competitors, compete fairly and take care of club property.

Parents should support participants, respect officials’ decisions and raise concerns through appropriate procedures.

Coaches, instructors, officials and volunteers must prioritise participant welfare and follow RYA and club safeguarding policies.

Concerns

Any concerns should be reported to the Club Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer via the Brown Cup Co-ordinator or Race Officer.
